South Korean movie ‘The Commitment’ which stars Big Bang’s T.O.P, will premiere in over 10 North American cities next month.
The movie revolves around a North Korean youth named Myung Hoon who is forced to become a spy in South Korea in order to save his sister from harm. The movie has attracted almost a million admissions in South Korea, and will premiere in North America on December 6th.
Well Go USA who is bringing ‘The Commitment’ to American cities, had previously premiered movies like ‘The Man from Nowhere’, ‘The Front Line’, ‘My Way’, ‘The Thieves’, and ‘New World’ in America. Barely a month after it had opened in South Korea, ‘The Commitment’ will premiere in over 10 major American cities like Los Angeles and New York through 25 cinema screens.
‘The Commitment’ had already received enquires about broadcast rights when it was still in production from companies in Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia. With the movie set to premiere in North America, the Korean Wave is fast spreading from Asia to the rest of the world.
